Warrior Lore Workshop
Through the mythic tale of Virabhadra, let's explore the warrior poses.
What does it take to access the physical strength, stability and focus of the warrior poses?
How does taking support & props enable us to access stability in our legs, create space to extend upward & expand outward, and direct our focus with precision?
We'll move through lots of prep and variations and actions, building up to these three postures, one step at a time.

2.5 hours of Warrior Poses?!
Are we really going to work on Warrior I, II, and III for over 2 hours?
NO WAY. not a chance.
We'll build up to these poses with preparatory work.
Lots of repetitions, to understand actions in the pose.
Explore how our eyes and mind create precision, focus, and directionality.
And take time to rest.
If you've been in class with me over the last couple of years, sometimes while working on standing poses, I'd say:
Wouldn't it be awesome if we did a whole class about the warrior poses and learn the story of Virabhadra?!?!
And this spring, the idea just got louder and louder.
These poses are heating. And yet, they also embody a focused presence. As the rising heat of Spring emerges, how can we witness our own inner heat and learn more about our current embodiment in these times?
